The fact if the matter is that most straight cis men are intimidated by me because I’m so comfortable with the ways that my femininity can intersect with my masculinity, when they’re so trapped by their own fragile perceptions of manhood that they could never feel the joy of finding the perfect new pair of earrings that stand out perfectly against their plaid and cargo shorts

The exception being my grandpa, who saw the fact that I got a pedicure and said ,kinda wistfully, “your grandmother never takes me with her to the salon :( ”
